Panel molding, shiplap, board and batten, and grid panels. Built and finished on-site for Tampa Bay homes.
A well-built accent wall does more than add texture. It anchors the room, gives the furniture something to work against, and makes the space feel designed rather than assembled. We build every style on-site, cut and finished to your room's actual dimensions.
We've built panel molding walls, shiplap bedrooms, grid panel dining rooms, and board and batten entryways for homeowners across Tampa Bay. Every project starts with your wall's actual measurements, not a catalog spec.
This service covers:
This homeowner wanted their dining room to feel more formal without adding furniture or art. We installed a classic picture frame panel system floor-to-ceiling, then painted the entire wall a deep tone so the panels read as shadow detail rather than applied decoration. The result is a room that earns its formality.
View all our work →We measure the wall, not the catalog spec. Every panel, every reveal, every corner is cut to your actual dimensions. That's what makes the spacing look intentional instead of approximate.
Grid spacing and rail dimensions are designed around your wall height, window placement, and furniture scale. We don't apply a standard pattern and hope it fits.
Every edge is coped, caulked, and sanded before it's primed. The wall is ready for finish paint, and depending on what else is being done in the room, we can handle the paint coat as part of the project.
"Oakline is the best renovation company we've found in Tampa for custom built-ins and accent walls."

We build panel molding, picture frame, board and batten, shiplap, grid panels, beadboard, and box beam styles. We can also work from a custom design or inspiration photo.
Yes. We plan the panel layout around your wall's existing features so everything lines up cleanly. Outlets get flush extension boxes where needed so they sit flush with the finished surface.
After we're done. We deliver the wall primed. Depending on scope and what else you're painting in the room, we can handle the finish coat ourselves or coordinate it as part of the project. Either way, it's part of the estimate conversation upfront.
Most accent walls are 1 to 2 days on-site depending on size and style. Grid panels and built-up molding systems can run a bit longer. We give you a clear timeline before we start.
We work throughout the greater Tampa Bay area. Wherever you are, get in touch and we'll let you know if we serve your neighborhood.
