Learn more →Davis Islands was developed in the 1920s by David P. Davis as one of Tampa's first planned waterfront communities. The homes here reflect that era: Mediterranean Revival facades, Spanish Colonial detailing, arched openings, plaster walls, and original built-in millwork that was standard in quality construction of that period. Newer infill homes and mid-century builds sit alongside the originals, but the character of the island is set by that early architecture.
Working on Davis Islands homes means understanding what is already there and building to match it. Molding profiles, proportions, and finish quality all need to hold up against original work that has stood for close to a hundred years. We take that seriously. We have done fireplace surrounds, trim packages, and built-ins on the island, and we know what these homes call for.
If you are renovating a historic home or adding to a newer one, we will build it to fit the property.
Davis Islands sits just south of downtown Tampa. We serve homeowners throughout South Tampa and the surrounding neighborhoods.
